SEC.00 — CAREERS
Working here
We are early and small. That means more ownership than most places can offer, and less structure than some people want. Both are true at once, and it is worth knowing which you are looking for.
SEC.01 — OPEN ROLES
What is open
STATUS
No open roles right now
We are not hiring at the moment, and we would rather say that plainly than keep a list of positions we cannot fill. If the work below sounds like yours, send a speculative note — we read them, and we keep them for when a role does open.
Send a speculative noteSEC.02 — FIT
Who thrives here
Stated as behaviour rather than as personality.
01
You want to own a problem end to end, not receive tickets for a slice of one.
02
You would rather write the decision down than explain it three times.
03
You are comfortable saying an approach is wrong, early, with a reason.
04
You care what happens to the system in year three.
SEC.03 — PRACTICE
How we actually work
- Distributed, anchored to Colombo, with meetings inside real overlap hours.
- A written handoff at the end of each day. If it is not written, it did not happen.
- Documentation currency is a merge condition, not a quarterly cleanup.
- Two-week iterations, each ending with something deployed you can open.
SEC.04 — CRITERIA
What we look for
- Depth in at least one part of the stack, and genuine curiosity about the rest.
- Judgement about when a constraint belongs in the database, the type system, or a code review.
- Writing that a colleague can act on without a meeting.
- Evidence you have shipped something and lived with the consequences.
Speculative notes go to info.axiyana@gmail.com. Tell us what you have built and what you would want to own here. A link to something real beats a CV.
